When you going to install virtual box , you face this type of error. Sometimes the error is Virtualization Technology is disabled. The error image looks like the pick given below-

First of all why this error msg will come? Friends motherboard has many security settings already installed and VT-x is one of them. The VT-x service is by default disabled for security reasons. So you are facing this issue. Here is the solution for this error.

 Step 1: Access BIOS Settings

1. Restart your computer.

2. As your system boots up, continuously press the hotkey to enter the BIOS. Common keys include DEL, F2, ESC, F8, or F10—the key can vary depending on the manufacturer. your screen look like be –

 

Step 2: Locate Virtualization Settings

1. Once in the BIOS, navigate through the menus to find settings related to “Virtualization Technology” or “Intel VT”. This may be under tabs such as “Advanced”, “CPU Configuration”, or “Security”.

2. Different BIOS interfaces may have varying layouts, but you’re looking for an option that mentions “Virtualization” or “VT-x”.

 

Step 3: Enable VT-x

1. Select the option for “Virtualization Technology” and change it from “Disabled” to “Enabled”.

2. Save your changes. This is usually done by pressing “F10”, or you may see an option for “Save & Exit”.

 Step 4: Exit BIOS

1. Exit the BIOS. Your system will reboot.

2. After the reboot, try installing VirtualBox again.

 

By enabling virtualization in the BIOS, you should be able to bypass the error and successfully run VirtualBox. If you continue to experience issues, make sure that your CPU supports VT-x technology, or consult your motherboard’s documentation for more specific guidance.
